A Victorville man was arrested early Friday morning, February 5, after he was found with a firearm despite having a restraining order filed against him. Deputies were called to the King of the Hammers area in Johnson Valley just before 6 a.m. for an argument. Deputies contacted Sam McClure, 29, who had a domestic violence restraining order filed against him, with a provision that he could not be in possession of a firearm. Sam McClure was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
