The Veterans of Foreign Wars in Joshua Tree is looking to collect military challenge coins that are being used in an Eagle Scout project for local Scout Troop 77. Military challenge coins are passed between members of the military for lots of different reasons – and the VFW is asking that if you have any extra, you can drop them off at a donation jar at the VFW Post – which is located on Veterans Way in downtown Joshua Tree, right off highway 62.
