Everyone is invited to a summer picnic at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 at the Community United Methodist Church on East Parkway in Joshua Tree. There will be a fresh vegetable distribution along with the vegetarian picnic dinner. As with all Transition Joshua Tree events, this is a ‘no waste’ dinner; please bring your own dishes, utensils, a cup, and a bag to take home some vegetables.
