We have more information about the four-month-long series of drug raids made by Sheriff’s deputies in San Bernardino County. Between August 24 and December 31, members of the Gangs/Narcotics Divisions Marijuana Enforcement Team, along with numerous members from the department’s patrol stations, conducted Operation Home Grown, which targeted the proliferation of illegal marijuana cultivation throughout San Bernardino County. During these four months, deputies served 300 search warrants at various locations in San Bernardino County. Investigators arrested 303 suspects for charges such as the cultivation of more than six marijuana plants, electrical theft, possession of stolen property, and illegal firearms possession. The operation resulted in the seizure of 105 firearms and the mitigation of 10 THC extraction labs. Deputies seized over 255,000 marijuana plants and almost 30,000 pounds of processed marijuana.
