A Twentynine Palms man who was found unresponsive last week, was arrested when deputies learned he had $5 million in warrants issued for his arrest. First responders were called to a medical aid call in the 73700 block of Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms about 6:15 p.m. Friday. Jacob Hendricks, 26, was slumped over in a chair, and paramedics determined he was under the influence of narcotics. Deputies learned that Hendricks is a convicted felon on probation in Riverside County, and had a $5 million dollar warrant for his arrest. During a search of Hendricks, deputies found a loaded .22 semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, and narcotics. Hendricks was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment. Once released from the hospital, Jacob Hendricks was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, and is being held without bail.
