A fight at the carnival in Twentynine Palms resulted in the arrest of two 17 year-olds for investigation into possessing loaded handguns. At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday (March 25), County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a fight at the carnival at Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms. The person who made the report told deputies that one of the juveniles involved in the fight brandished a gun before leaving the carnival with another juvenile.
Deputies say they located and detained two juveniles matching the description of those involved in the fight, both of whom were found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. The juveniles, identified only as 17 year-old males, were both arrested for weapons charges and released into the custody of their parents.
