TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF STOLEN GUN, ATV

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Wednesday after deputies discovered a stolen vehicle and gun in her possession. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies from the Yucca Valley Multiple Enforcement Team conducted an arrest warrant about 3pm at a home in the 3500 block of Desert Villa in the unincorporated area of Twentynine Palms. There they found Rachel Adkins, 32, who had a warrant for her arrest. During a search of the home, deputies found a stolen Taurus .38-caliber revolver, and a stolen 1984 Honda ATV was parked on the property. Rachel Adkins was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, and on a misdemeanor warrant. Adkins was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $60,000.
