Twentynine Palms Wildcats Varsity baseball lose to Indio in an error-free squeaker game
The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcats varsity baseball team lost to Indio High School 8-7 on Thursday (April 10)
Jax Langdon, Eduardo Avalos and Anthony Gabriel JR. each collected two hits for Twentynine Palms.
The Wildcats added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Anthony Escandon doubled down the left field line, Eduardo Avalos singled down the left field line, and Geziah Garcia hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
Eduardo Avalos was the starting pitcher for Twentynine Palms. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and five runs over four and one-third innings, striking out four and walking five.
The Wildcats accumulated 10 hits in the game. Eduardo Avalos led Twentynine Palms with three runs batted and went 2-for-4 on the day. The Wildcats turned one double play in the game and didn’t commit a single error in the field.
Wildcats varsity baseball team will host Coachella Valley High School on Tuesday (April 13) at 3:15pm.
