Friday (July 3)
Fireworks Spectacular at Yucca Valley High School
The Town of Yucca Valley, in collaboration with the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, will co-sponsor this year’s Independence Day Celebration featuring a live concert and Fireworks Spectacular at Yucca Valley High School Stadium, located at 7600 Sage Avenue in Yucca Valley.
The event will feature patriotic-themed activities and giveaways, a live concert, food vendors and a welcome from Mayor Pro Tem Jim Schooler. Attendees will enjoy live music by Those Guys, a high-energy pop and top hits band known for delivering an engaging performance for all ages.
Event gates will open at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Fireworks Spectacular is scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m., accompanied by a patriotic music simulcast provided by media sponsor Z107.7 FM Radio.
Saturday (July 4)
Tortoise Rock Casino
On Saturday (July 4), fireworks will be launched by at Tortoise Rock Casino, with two events showcasing the dazzling display.
On July 4th, the 6th Annual Independence Day Celebration will be held at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and guests will enjoy delicious food vendors including the famous Tortoise Rock BBQ crew, carnival and lawn games, live music by Nashville country artist Blane Howard, and exciting giveaways, including electric scooters and bikes.
Z107.7’s DJ Adeline will be on site playing music and MC-ing the event. At 9:00 p.m., the evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over the breathtaking backdrop of Joshua Tree National Park.
Knott Sky Park
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department invites residents and visitors to ring in Independence Day at a free Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Knott Sky Park. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, the Kiwanis Club of Twentynine Palms will share a special reading of the Declaration of Independence. The evening offers family-friendly fun for all ages, including waterslides, a photo booth, and food vendors, capped by a fireworks viewing party as the show lights up the sky over nearby Tortoise Rock Casino. Z107.7’s Cody Joseph will be providing music live at the event.

Personal fireworks are illegal
As always, fireworks remain completely illegal in all areas of the Morongo Basin. Fireworks are one of the leading causes of fires in the hi-desert, most especially in the weeks leading to the Fourth of July holiday.
CalFire issued a release on Friday saying that they have zero tolerance for fireworks, and using any type fireworks in communities where they are prohibited can result in fines of up to $50,000 and up to one year in jail.
