Twentynine Palms Wildcats Desert Valley League Track & Field results

A total of 12 personal records, 19 All League performances, and 7 DVL Champions were earned by the Wildcats Track and Field Team.

The top performer of the day was 28 point scorer sophomore, Sabrina Graham. She ran the second leg of the 2nd place 4×1 relay, was 3rd place in the long jump (15’3″), and won the high jump (4’10”), and repeated as the 100m hurdle champion (15.99). Graham qualified for CIF in all 4 events.

Senior Violet Graham qualified for CIF in her 3 events: 100m hurdles (16.92), 4×1 relay, and she repeated as the 300m hurdle champion with a personal best of 47.89. She hopes to break the school record set in 2003, set by Tracy Campese.

Senior Captain Maverick Burkleo repeated as the boys discus champion with a personal best of 124-03. Aaron Haney earned his first ever DVL title with a 6’0 high jump.

The Wildcats will travel out to Carpinteria High School for the CIF Division 4 preliminary meet next Saturday.
