Items on the agenda for this week’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission includes changing the land use of some properties in the downtown area. Properties such as public properties will be considered as commercial properties instead. Next on the agenda, a request for approval of a conditional use permit for an axe-throwing business in the city of Twentynine Palms. Interpreting the development code definition will be the main debate amongst the planning commission. The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. at Twentynine Palms City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road.
