Twentynine Palms man arrested again for suspected domestic violence

A Twentynine Palms convicted of domestic violence was arrested over the weekend for investigation into domestic violence.
On Sunday (August 30) at around noon, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of domestic violence at a home in the 6500 block of Manzanita Avenue in Twentynine Palms. Deputies said that the female victim had been physically assaulted multiple times by her long-term boyfriend, leaving her with several visible injuries indicative of felony spousal abuse. They said the suspect threatened bodily harm against her son if the victim contacted law enforcement.
Deputies Eduardo Hernandez and Nathen Arenas identified the suspect as Gerald Williams, III, a 36 year-old resident of Twentynine Palms. Deputies say they used license plate reader technology to locate Williams’ vehicle near the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Sunfair Avenue in Joshua Tree. During a traffic stop, Williams was taken into custody.
Court records show that Williams pled “no contest” to charges related to domestic violence charges in 2017.
Gerald Williams, III was arrested on suspicion of charges related to domestic violence. He is being held at the Morongo Basin Jail on $50,000 bail.
