The Twentynine Palms Community Center is reducing its hours for the fall season beginning Monday. Run by the City of Twentynine Palms, the Community Center provides a gathering space and sports and activity programs. In a press release issued by the city, the Community Center will now be open only from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Though this period is an hour shorter than current hours, the Community Center will now be open on Fridays, adding an extra day to what has been their four day a week summer schedule. An evening, adults-only activity session is no longer on the schedule.
