Transition Joshua Tree’s Local Food Program invites you to enjoy a potluck vegetarian meal of “Summer Salads” this Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Community Methodist Church on East Parkway in Joshua Tree. Main dish salads, side dishes and desserts are on the menu. The event is free, although donations are always welcome. A vegetable giveaway is planned so bring along a bag to take home some fresh produce. And in keeping with the group’s “no waste’ policy, guests are advised to “bring your own” utensils, plate, cup, etc. Contact [email protected] to donate or volunteer.
