Transition Joshua Tree’s Local Food Program invites you to enjoy a potluck vegetarian “Fall Equinox Dinner” this Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Community Methodist Church on East Parkway in Joshua Tree. Main dish salads, side dishes, and desserts are on the menu. The event is free, although donations are always welcome. A vegetable giveaway is planned, so bring along a bag to take home some fresh produce. In keeping with Transition’s ‘no waste’ policy, each guest is advised to “bring his or her own” utensils, plate, cup, etc. Contact [email protected] to donate or volunteer.
