WONDER VALLEY CONVICTED FELON ACCUSED OF BEING IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

A Wonder Valley man was arrested Wednesday (September 8) accused of being a felon in possession of a firearm. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies were called to the 5600 block of Gopher Grove Lane in Wonder Valley Wednesday (September 8) by a property owner requesting a check of his property out of fear that someone may be illegally living there illegally. Arriving deputies contacted Edwin Clausen, 41, at the location, who was determined to be on felony probation. During an investigation, Deputies determined Clausen was in possession of an unloaded double barrel 12 gage shotgun, ammunition, methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia. Edwin Clausen was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of a firearm and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.

TWO MORONGO BASIN WOMEN ACCUSED OF POSSESSION OF HEROIN FOR SALE

Two Morongo basin women were arrested Tuesday (August 10) accused of being in possession of Heroin for sale. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies responded to the 61900 block of Oleander Drive in Joshua Tree where they located Natalie Barner, 39, of Joshua Tree and Ashley Thompson, 33 of Yucca Valley. After an investigation, Natalie Barner and Ashley Thompson were arrested for investigation of being in possession of a controlled substance for sale and were booked into the West Valley Detention Center with their bails set at $50,000 each.

TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF POSSESSION OF HEROIN

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Sunday (July 25) accused of transporting heroin for sale. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Larrea Ave. and La Buena Tierra Ave. in Twentynine Palms for a broken license plate light. Deputies determined the driver, Brandon Blaul, 32, had a $10,000 warrant for being in possession of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located suspected fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine. Blaul reportedly admitted to deputies that he was headed to a hotel in Twentynine Palms to sell the drugs. Brandon Blaul was arrested for his warrant and for investigation of transporting heroin for sale and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.

SHERIFF PROBATION CHECK LEADS TO DISCOVERY OF DRUG HOUSE IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

Sheriff’s deputies discovered a suspected drug house in Twentynine Palms Wednesday evening (July 7) while serving an arrest warrant. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies went to a home in the 73400 block of Raymond Drive in Twentynine Palms to serve an arrest warrant for Robert Conde, 31. Deputies arrived on scene and determined that Joseph Fitzpatrick, 23, the property owner and known associate of Conde, was on felony probation. During a probation check of the property, Deputies discovered evidence that the home was being used to sell heroin. Deputies located Conde hiding at the residence with a concealed dagger. Deputies were required to use force to detain and arrest Conde. Robert Conde was arrested for investigation of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and on $25,000 in warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was first booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000 and later booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held without bail. Joseph Fitzpatrick was arrested for investigation of being in possession of heroin for sale and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.

JOSHUA TREE MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING HEROIN IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A Joshua Tree man was arrested Tuesday (July 6) accused of possession of heroin for sale. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of 49 Palms Avenue and Twentynine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms. Deputies contacted the driver, Keith Webb, 32, who was found to be on felony probation. During a search, deputies located a significant amount of heroin, cash, and a scale. Keith Webb was arrested for investigation of possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on $100,000 in warrants for possession of a controlled substance and unauthorized possession of prescription drugs. He was booked into the West Valley detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
