The Animal Action League in Joshua Tree has received a grant to help pay for spaying and neutering cats and dogs in Twentynine Palms. Managing editor Tami Roleff has more information about how Twentynine Palms pet owners can apply for the vouchers…
The Animal Action League, which provides low-cost spaying and neutering services for dogs and cats, has received a grant to be used to lower the cost for Twentynine Palms pet owners. The organization has 50 $20 vouchers for cat spaying/neutering, and 50 $40 vouchers to be used for dogs. To qualify for the vouchers, pet owners must be residents of Twentynine Palms (including the base). There is a limit of three vouchers per household. The vouchers can be used only at the Joshua Tree clinic. Some restrictions on the pet’s health, age, breed, and size may apply. Shelters and rescues do not qualify for the vouchers. To reserve your voucher, call 760-366-1100 and leave a message. And if you are a resident of Yucca Valley, don’t fret: the town has spay/neuter vouchers valued at $60 for dogs and $35 for cats.
