Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a death in Yucca Valley last month. On Tuesday, September 22, at 12:03 p.m., deputies were called to a house in the 3700 block of Lucerne Vista Avenue to conduct a wellness check on the resident, Thomas Chenoweth, 46. Deputies found Chenoweth’s body inside the garage. Homicide detectives are investigating. An autopsy has been completed but the results from the cause and manner of death are still pending.
