The Morongo Unified School District has once again announced their participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Reporter Gary Daigneault tells us what that means for hungry students…
After more than a year of Grab-&-Go meal distributions, The Morongo Unified School District has returned to offering students their traditional in-person free meal program for breakfast and lunch each day. With the announcement of their continued involvement in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, a bagged supper has been added to the free meal program. This means that all MUSD students, K-12, will continue to have the option of eating three meals a day at all District schools free of charge. For more information on the school District food programs, contact MUSD Nutritional Services Director Janet Barth at 760-367-9191, extension 4271.
