Rotary Club of Joshua Tree provides over 100 pairs of shoes for local children

The Rotary Club of Joshua Tree Foundation donated more than 100 pairs of shoes as part of its annual Shoes for Children program.

The Foundation distributed over 100 vouchers valued at $40 each, enabling children to receive brand-new shoes for the upcoming school year. The foundation partnered with Marshalls in Yucca Valley to ensure that children in need of shoes can step confidently into their classrooms with the essentials they deserve.

The Club is also distributing backpacks filled with school supplies, courtesy of the Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians.

The Shoes for Children initiative has become a cornerstone of the Foundation’s outreach efforts, addressing a practical need while uplifting families and inspiring community spirit.

The Rotary Club of Joshua Tree Foundation meets for breakfast every Wednesday at 7:00 am at Jorge’s on the CMC campus.
