Report of domestic dispute results in arrest and hospital treatment for suspect
After allegedly resisting arrest, a Yucca Valley man was injured by deputies and taken to a hospital for treatment.
On Sunday (May 17) at 2:15 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a violent domestic dispute in the 5100 block of Linda Lee Drive in Yucca Valley. Responding deputies say that the report of violence was unfounded, but that a domestic argument was in progress. Deputies say the suspect, Daniel Spain, 44, refused to obey commands from responding deputies and he resisted arrest. Deputies say that Spain’s hand was injured while he was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Daniel Spain was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a law enforcement officer. He was cited and released.
