Pedestrian killed in Old Woman Springs Road collision on Sunday (7/12)

A pedestrian was killed in a traffic collision on Twentynine Palms Highway late Sunday night (July 12)

At around 10:30 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about a traffic collision on Twentynine Palms Highway near Old Woman Springs Road in Yucca Valley.

Deputies say a witness called in the collision. The Sheriff’s Department described it as a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision. Only one vehicle was involved. The victim was identified only as a 54 year-old female. The coroner pronounced her dead at the scene. No additional injuries were reported.
