PALM SPRINGS MAN ACCUSED OF BITING A DEPUTY IN YUCCA VALLEY MONDAY

A Palm Springs man was arrested in Yucca Valley Monday afternoon, accused of biting a deputy while resisting arrest. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies were called to the Jiffy Lube in the 71600 block of Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley around 10 a.m. for a report of a man yelling in the business lobby. Deputies responded and located Kenneth Holiday, 28, at the location. During the investigation, Holiday became uncooperative and bit one of the deputies. Kenneth Holiday was arrested for investigation of resisting arrest and was booked into the West Valley Detention center with his bail set at $50,000.
