Open public hearing on preliminary budget at tonight’s MVCSD meeting

The Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors will hold their regular monthly 6PM meeting tonight in Covington Park’s multipurpose room.

For tonight’s agenda, there will be an open public hearing on the preliminary budget for fiscal year 2023-24, followed by review and approval of the budget. The Board will review, discuss, and approve the updated MVCSD organizational chart, as well as assess a quote for $54,820 to replace the fire department’s backup generator.

In continued business, the Board will review, discuss, and approve a bid to repair the electrical connection damage and wireless signal interface; estimated expenses for the project at $8,940.
