OHV Safety Summit on Tuesday in Bakersfield, remote attendance available
If you are interested in Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) safety there is a summit and commission meeting coming up on Tuesday with an option for remote attendance.
The Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division is hosting the Fifth Annual Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Safety Summit in Bakersfield on Tuesday, June 16. Commissioners from the OHMVR Commission will attend the summit and hold their quarterly meeting on Wednesday, June 17.
The public is invited to participate in the summit with OHMVR Division staff, commissioners, OHV organizations and representatives from various agencies from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The summit will include a variety of speakers during the morning session and deeper dives into OHV-related topics during breakout sessions in the afternoon. An RSVP is required to participate in the Safety Summit in person. Please send an email to jack.gorman@parks.ca.gov. An RSVP is not required to attend the Commission meeting.
Both the OHV Safety Summit and Commission meeting will be available for participants to attend virtually through Zoom or watch the Commission meeting live at CAL-SPAN.org.
