New Assemblage and Textile Work From Jeffrey Vilarino Debuts at Glass Outhouse

A new exhibition of the assemblage and sculpture work of Jeffrey Vilarino opens today (November 4) at the Glass Outhouse Art Gallery in Twentynine Palms. Vilarino’s work is assemblage, painting, and sculpture that uses natural materials like wood, plant-based ingredients, bones, and stones. The work also utilizes traditional forms of textile and pattern work, inspired by a variety of world cultures. Vilarino’s constructions are muted and earthy and reflect his life in Southern California.

A reception, featuring the artist will be held tomorrow afternoon (November 5), from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the gallery, which is located at 77575 Twentynine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms.
