MVCSD to discuss budget, softball league fees, and resident fire assessment fees at tonight’s meeting

The Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors will hold their regular meeting tonight (5/20) in Covington Park’s Mesquite Room with discussions on budget, softball league, and approving the annual fire assessment fee.

After director reports, the Board will review the district’s accountant engagement letter and discuss dates for their upcoming budget workshop to support development of the upcoming fiscal year. The Board will discuss The Morongo Valley Softball League’s registration fee schedule and registration documents, with a proposed action that would establish a $60.00 player registration fee to support league operational expenses. Finally, the Board will consider approval of assessment fee, the levy, and annual collection of assessments for residents within the Morongo Valley Fire Service Area for 2026/27.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place at 6:00 p.m. in Covington Park’s Mesquite Room, located at 11165 Vale. St.
