MUSD to discuss Anti-opioid overdose medications for school nurses

The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will be holding their regular meeting tonight (November 15th) at 6pm at Joshua Tree Elementary.

For tonight’s MUSD Board meeting agenda, action items include: a request to designate December 13th, 2022 as its annual reorganization meeting, a request to approve annual renewal of nutritional services with California USDA Foods Cooperative, a request to authorize advertisement of Kitchen Modernization bid at 29 Palms Junior High, and a request to approve the same project’s architectural and designing services.

Items for review include: bylaw update to change district requirements to hold annual organizational meeting, and policy to provide naloxone hydrochloride or other opioid antagonists to school nurses and other trained personnel to administer to persons suffering from opioid overdose.
