MUSD Summer Meal Program: Locations and Schedule

The Morongo Unified School District is inviting students of all ages to participate in the summer meals program, providing everyone access to nutrition and wholesome meals throughout the summer break period.

The program is free  – there are two options for families to participate:

The Nutritional Services department will be offering daily breakfast and lunch to  children up to the  age 18. This option doesn’t require signing up or any paperwork, just show up during the designated time at MUSD locations around the hi-desert. 

Families can also opt for a Weekly Meal Pick-Up by either completing the online form weekly to indicate their meal preferences or by simply showing up at participating sites.

Yucca Valley High School
June 11 – July 10 | Monday–Friday

• Breakfast: 8:15 A.M. – 8:30 A.M.
• Lunch: 11:15 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.

Onaga Elementary School
June 11 – July 10 | Monday–Friday

• Breakfast: 9:15 A.M. – 9:30 A.M.
• Lunch: 12:30 P.M. – 12:45 P.M.

Yucca Mesa Elementary School
June 11 – July 10 | Monday–Friday

• Breakfast: 9:15 A.M. – 9:30 A.M.

Knott Sky Park
June 11 – July 24 | Monday–Friday

• Breakfast: 9:00 A.M. – 9:15 A.M.

Oasis Elementary School

Weekly Meal Pick-Up Locations

Weekly meal distribution will be available on Thursdays, beginning June 11 through July 23, at the following schools:

7:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

• Yucca Valley Elementary School
• Twentynine Palms Elementary School

9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.

• Landers Elementary School
• Morongo Valley Elementary School

The program officially kicks off June 9, 2026, with a free Summer Meal Program Kickoff event at Luckie Park Rotary Shelter in Twentynine Palms from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Families can enjoy a free BBQ lunch along with games, raffles, community booths, and free resources. The event is open to all and sponsored by MUSD and the City of Twentynine Palms.
