
Morongo Valley man arrested for investigation into domestic assault
A woman was treated for injuries and a man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Morongo Valley.
On May 21 at around 2:00 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 49000 block of Tamarisk Drive in Morongo Valley. Deputies identified the suspect as Domonic Johnson, 30, and say he pushed, punched, and kicked a victim in the home. Court documents indicate that Johnson also threatened the victim. Deputies arrived and took Johnson into custody. The victim was treated for injuries at the scene by paramedics.
Domonic Johnson was arrested on suspicion of charges related to domestic violence and making threats. He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and has since been released on bail.
