Rabies vaccination is so important because without it, the deadly viral disease kills almost any mammal that gets sick from it. The Palms-N-Paws Animal Shelter in Twentynine Palms will conduct a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic for cats and dogs from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7. Vaccinations will cost $8 each, cash only. All dogs must be on a leash and cats in a carrier. The Palms-N-Paws Animal Shelter is at 7086 Bullion Road, a block south of Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms.
