Art is sharing. Art is inspiring. Art is essential. “The Importance of Art” is the topic of this Thursday’s Brown Bag Lunch Lecture at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum in the Yucca Valley Community Center complex. Presented by the Copper Mountain College Art Club, the lecture happens in conjunction with the annual student art show on display from through June 4. The Museum’s monthly Brown Bag Lunch Lectures start at noon. Admission is $5 or free for museum members. Beverages will be served.
