A Landers man was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop. Deputies made a traffic stop for multiple violations on Old Woman Springs Road near Cedarbird Road just after 10 p.m. Inside the vehicle was Shane Harper, 25. Deputies located a loaded firearm inside the vehicle, along with suspected methamphetamine. Shane Harper was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
