Ladycats volleyball travels highlights and scores from West Valley match-up

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball team traveled to West Valley to face the Mustangs Wednesday night (September 9)

 JV started off strong but lost 24-26 won 25-14 but came up short in the third set for a 10-15 loss.  Gena Bilderain served up eight ace serves. Chessa Robinson served up six ace serves, had two kills and four assists. Mackenzie Hamilton was huge at the net with one block and three kills. 

In varsity action, the cats matched the Mustangs point for point and hustled until the end, losing in 4 sets 18-25, 25-14, 19-25 and 14-25. Senior Vivian Grunt put down five kills and had one ace. Sophomore Jada Nelson put down four kills, one block and had two assists. Senior Berlyn McCormick served up four aces and had one kill. Junior Sabrina Graham had two kills, one ace, one assist and one block. 

 The cats are now 4-5 overall and start league at home Monday the 14th against the Lions of Cathedral City.
