JOSHUA TREE WOMAN, TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN, ARRESTED AFTER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

A Joshua Tree woman was arrested for felony spouse abuse following a fight with her boyfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Jessica Aparicio, 25, and her boyfriend were drinking about 11:30 p.m. Sunday night when she decided to leave the residence in the 4300 block of Inez Street with her two children in her vehicle. Aparicio and her boyfriend started arguing, and then scuffling with each other after her boyfriend wouldn’t let her leave. Aparicio was bitten on her upper arm and shoulder, and in turn, she bit her boyfriend on his neck and struck him several times on his face. After an investigation, deputies determined that the boyfriend’s injuries were more severe than Aparicio’s, and so Jessica Aparicio was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse. She was booked at the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.

A Twentynine Palms man is accused of felony spouse abuse after his girlfriend said he beat her and choked her during an argument about breakfast Sunday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, James Milbauer, 28, of the 73800 block of Cactus Drive, began arguing with his girlfriend about 9:30 because a 10-year-old child cooked Sunday breakfast. The woman told Sheriff’s deputies that Milbauer choked her, causing her to pass out three times, as well as threatened to kill her, accusations that Milbauer denied. After an investigation, James Milbauer was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse and booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
