UPDATE: The Desert Split Queer Voices Show has moved to the Beatnik Lounge. Follow @joshuatreepride on Instagram for all Pride related updates! Thanks @highdeserthappenings!

Joshua Tree Pride is this Saturday the 18th and there are lots of indoor and outdoor parties going on from sun up to sun down.

Starting at 10 AM the Beatnik Lounge will be continuing their “Queerated” Art Show featuring local LGBTQIA+ artists. If you can’t drop by the gallery by 2PM the show will be running all of June.

Just up the highway the Station will be kicking off a Patio Pride party starting at noon sharp –
DJ Monkeybone, Jessica VonRabbit, and Kidnapkate will be spinning records until 4, with the soon-to-be legendary mermaid parade and splashdown planned for around 3PM.

Back at the Beatnik Lounge the Desert Split Queer Voices Open Mic is taking place. All queer / LQBTQIA+ writers are welcome to read their poetry and prose from 5 to 7 PM.

To finish out the night, head into Yucca Valley for more DJs and dancing at the Tiny Pony. They’ll be celebrating with a pride party from 8PM to midnight with a full bar and menu. Step into their classic photo booth to snap those pride memories.
