Joshua Tree National Park Art Expo begins today (11/1)

The Joshua Tree National Park Art Expo is an annual, judged art competition featuring local and non-local artists. The show is arranged in conjunction with Joshua Tree National Park Council for the Arts in partnership with 29 Palms Artists’ Guild. This year it features 64 artists, including 25 from the Morongo Basin. 

Opening weekend festivities are set for Saturday and Sunday (November 2) at the Twentynine Palms Art Gallery, with artist booths on the gallery grounds, live music on the outdoor stage, food and beverages, and a cash beer/wine bar. 

The awards ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be presented at 5:00 p.m. $4,000 will be presented in three categories: 2-Dimensional Art, 3-Dimensional Art, and Photography.

Expo hours are Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with an awards reception from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free.

The exhibition will remain on display November 1-30, 2025, at the 29 Palms Art Gallery, 74055 Cottonwood Drive at National Park Drive.
