Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC), and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, recently began an investigation into the downloading, possession, and distribution of child pornography. According to a press release, it was determined the child pornography was distributed from a home in Joshua Tree.
Last Tuesday, November 23, personnel from CAC, Hi-Tech Crime Detail, and Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station, served a search warrant at a residence in 61600 block of El Cajon Road, in Joshua Tree. Investigators determined that Mark Lee White, 62, was responsible for the distribution of child pornography. At the conclusion of the investigation, White was arrested for investigation of distribution and possession of child pornography and booked into Central Detention Center. The San Bernardino County Inmate Locator indicates that Mark Lee White was released from custody just after midnight the following day.
