A Joshua Tree man was arrested early Saturday morning in Highland. About 1:20 a.m., Highland police officers arrested Anthony Suarez, 27, at the San Manuel Casino on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine for sales, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and being a felon in possession of a firearm, along with an enhancement of being in a criminal gang. Anthony Suarez was booked in to the Central Detention Center and was released on bail just before 3 am. Monday on $50,000 bail.
