A Joshua Tree man was arrested late Saturday (April 10) night, accused of child endangerment, and driving while under the influence. Shortly before midnight, Tyler Brooks, 33, was driving westbound on Highway 62 near Sunfair Road at speeds that were over 100 mph. When Brooks was pulled over by deputies, he was found to be under the influence, with a juvenile also in the vehicle. Tyler Brooks was arrested for suspicion of DUI and child endangerment and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $100,000.
