The Sheriff’s Department has announced that a drug lab caused a house fire in Morongo Valley Wednesday evening. Morongo Valley firefighters were called to the 49800 block of Visnaga Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. where they found the back bedroom and contents on fire. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze and keep it from spreading to a nearby fence and adjacent residence. Fire investigators state that a butane honey oil lab was discovered inside the home and was the cause of the blaze. No arrests have been announced yet.
