Perspectives on intelligent design theory will be explored at a program sponsored by Lifetree Café. A filmed interview with an atheist professor—whose controversial view on the plausibility of intelligent design has brought criticism from the academic and atheist communities—will be followed by a dialog in which participants will have the opportunity to discuss the plausibility of several intelligent design theories. The event is set for 4 p.m. Sunday, December 11. Admission is free. Lifetree Café is located behind Little Church of the Desert at Veterans Way and Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms.
