A man hiking out at Amboy Crater found a dead body Wednesday morning. According to County Fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle, the hiker found the dead man, estimated to be in his 60s or 70s, about 11 a.m. Temperatures at the crater Wednesday were in the low 100s. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
