HI-DESERT WATER DISTRICT CONSIDERS TAX LIENS, SALARIES, SEWER CHANGES TONIGHT

The Hi-Desert Water District will hold a special closed session meeting tonight, starting at 5 p.m. at which it will hold a performance evaluation of the district’s general manager. The regular meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. On the regular agenda, the board will be asked to review and establish water stand-by assessments and to place delinquent charges on the property owners’ taxes. The board will also be asked to approve a review of the district’s salaries and benefits; approve a contract for new billing software; and approve three change orders for the Yucca Valley sewer project. Tonight’s meeting will be held in the board room of the Hi-Desert Water District, at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
