Hi-Desert Beekeepers and Spring Garden Class this Saturday (3/28) in Yucca Valley

The Hi-Desert Beekeepers Association meets on Saturday (March 28). They’ll ask the question, “What do you look for inside the hive?” They want you to bring your bee stories, bee adventures, and bee questions to the group.

The Hi-Desert Beekeepers Association meet at 12:00 on Saturday at Rainbow Stew, 55509 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.

A Spring Garden Class is being held on Saturday (March 28). Join herbalist and gardener Charla Shamhart for a session about soil amendments, fertilizers, shade cloth, spring versus fall seed varieties and more. You’ll also learn how to sprout difficult seeds like peppers.

A small donation is suggested. If you RSVP ahead of time, Shamhart will share seeds, herbs and plants. You can RSVP by calling 760-401-0689.

The event is also happening at Rainbow Stew from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
