GRUBSTAKE DAYS FAIR WANTS ENTERTAINERS

Entertainers young and old, large and small are being sought for this year’s Grubstake Days Community Fair. Community groups and individuals are encouraged to apply to be part of the entertainment line up. If you sing a song, juggle, have a band, or just want to tell some jokes, you can sign up to be part of this year’s 63rd celebration of the rich pioneering, ranching, and mining history of Yucca Valley. Those interested in becoming part of the daytime volunteer entertainment line-up should call Gary Daigneault at Z107.7, 760-366-8471. Grubstake Days, set for May 25, has moved this year to the Hi-Desert Boys and Girls Club and Brehm Youth Park grounds on Little League Drive in Yucca Valley. The event is sponsored Z107.7, Hi-Desert Publishing, the Basin-Wide Foundation, and the Town of Yucca Valley.
