Fundraiser for Morongo Valley Fire Captain Chavez on Tuesday (4/28) at Just a Small Town Grill

A fundraiser is being held for Morongo Valley Fire Department Captain Christopher Chavez.

Captain Chavez has contracted end stage kidney failure, and is no longer able to work for the Morongo Valley Fire Department. He has been part of the MVFD since 2018.

The Morongo Valley Firefighter’s Union is holding a fundraiser to support Captain Chavez. The fundraiser is happening on Tuesday (April 28) from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Just a Small Town Grill, located at 49643 Twentynine Palms Highway in Morongo Valley.
