Transition Joshua Tree’s Local Food Program invites you to enjoy vegetable stew, a free vegetarian dinner this Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church on East Parkway in Joshua Tree.
Soups, salads, side dishes and desserts will be served with aim of building community while educating people about cooking with fresh ingredients. A
vegetable giveaway is planned, so bring a bag to take home some fresh produce. This is a “no waste” event. Please bring your own utensils and dishes, including a soup bowl. This month’s dinner is happening a week earlier than usual because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Contact [email protected] to donate or volunteer.
