Morongo Basin children up to age 18 can receive free breakfasts and lunches this summer thanks to the Summer Feeding Program, sponsored by the Morongo Unified School District and the National School Lunch program. There’s no paperwork, just show up Monday through Thursday at participating locations at the stated times and receive a free meal. Distribution sites will be open beginning June 17 and are only open for a very short time of 10-15 minutes at each site and at different times for every site. Meals must be consumed on site.
