Free showers, food, clothes and other community resources at Friday event in Twentynine Palms (8/29)

A free shower and resource event for those in need is coming to Twentynine Palms. 

Organized by the Morongo Basin Community Coalition, the free event is happening Friday (August 29) at Alamo Laundry on Adobe Road. In addition to free showers, there will be free hygiene kits, clothing a food pantry, and other community resources.

The event is hosted by Alamo Laundry in partnership with Morongo Basin Community Coalition, the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County, Reach Out Yucca Valley, Reach Out Morongo Basin, and Wing N It.

The event runs Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 6343 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms.

There will be free shuttles to the event, with pick-ups every 15 minutes at Wing N It and the Little Church of the Desert, both in Twentynine Palms.
